
Swiss - Direct Entry First Officer (100%, all genders) - Zurich



Responsibilities:
As a pilot, you represent SWISS. Together with the entire crew, you will transport our guests safely and punctually to their destination and assume responsibility for the aircraft, crew, passengers, and cargo on board. Other responsibilities include:
- Operating SWISS aircraft safely and efficiently, ensuring punctuality, economy, and high quality standards for our guests
- Preparing and executing flights according to SWISS specifications
- Working with the crew, ground staff, and air traffic control
- Supporting and representing the Commander in all matters
- Constantly maintaining and deepening professional knowledge, independently
- Acting responsibly and sustainably
- Operating as a person of integrity, maturity, and loyalty with interpersonal skills and leadership potential.
Requirements:
To work as a pilot at SWISS, the following criteria must be met:

- Completed training with a high school diploma (Matura/Abitur) or a university entrance qualification (university of applied sciences)
- ATPL(A) / CPL(A)/IR with ATPL theory / MPL license (EASA Part-FCL)
- Advanced UPRT training according to EASA.FCL.745 & APS MCC JET
- Medical Class 1 Certificate
- Completely documented flight record (logbook extract, license, etc.)
- Swiss citizenship or EU-27/EFTA passport
- Very good German language skills (at least B2 level must be demonstrated if German is not a native/daily language) and good conversational English skills (at least ICAO Level 4)
- Impeccable reputation
- General willingness to be vaccinated with vaccines approved in Switzerland (including COVID-19, yellow fever, etc.)
- Height: 160-198cm
- Maximum age: 56 years based on the collective agreement
