Will you be able to cope with long and challenging shifts?
At my previous job I had already a mixed roster of day shifts combined with night shifts. I am totally comfortable with both, as each has its advantages. For example: at night time it was more peaceful in the office so I could concentrate better on my administrative duties. Although, I was dreaming of being a flight attendant, I studied all features of the job and I am fully ready for any challenges
The question about shift is quite challenging to answer. Why it is like that is well known. For example, cabin crew who are working in the night shift could have trouble with combining their family life with work, as well those people could have some difficulties with sleep, difficulties in maintaining healthy lifestyle in general. Shift jobs are always requiring a lot of flexibilities. One week or few days you could work in the day shift and then following a night shift, which makes it more difficult to make friends, meet with people, have time for hobbies, etc.
All recruiters are well aware about this side of the job. They want to make sure that you are fully aware of all aspects of this role, and if you are ready to handle work - life balance involved in this kind of job.
