ICAO language certificate in English, at least level 4
Knowledge of German at native speaker level or at least language level B2, alternatively English at native speaker level or at least language level B2
At least 4,000 hours of total flying experience, including at least 1,000 hours as pilot-in-command (PIC) on aircraft over 20 tonnes
Unrestricted EU passport and authorisation to work in the EU
General higher education entrance qualification (Abitur), entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences or subject-specific higher education entrance qualification
Valid background check in accordance with the legal requirements
Leadership personality with a high degree of personal responsibility and flexibility
Strong team spirit and commitment
Preferred: Valid type rating for Embraer E170/E190
