Job Description:
As a Ferry Flight Pilot at AAP Aviation, you will be responsible for the safety and efficiency of the flights, for reposition or demonstration. This role requires a high level of expertise such as flying skills, flight planning, navigation, and compliance with international regulations. You will work closely with our operations team to ensure timely and successful flights.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct pre-flight inspections and ensure aircraft are airworthy.
• Plan and execute ferry or demonstration flights, including confirmation of route planning and fuel management.
• Navigate and operate in diverse weather conditions.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Maintain accurate flight logs and reports.
• Communicate effectively with air traffic control and all support teams.
• Address and resolve any in-flight issues safely and efficiently.
Pilot-In-Command Qualification Requirements
Minimum qualification requirements to qualify a flight crew member to act as Pilot-In-Command on Company aircraft are:
• Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
• Valid Type Rating(s) with the qualification as PIC including Instrument Rating.
• A total of at least 3000 flight hours on CAT fixed wing aircraft.
• 500 hours flight time on Multi Pilot, Multi-engine aircraft type
• 1000 hours flight time as PIC.
• Hold a valid Medical Class 1.
• Minimum ICAO ELP 4. Preferred 5 or 6
• Minimum 200 hours P1 on Jet Turbine for Jet Turbine Operations
The following requirements are applicable to PIC who are new to the type or to the Company or have completed a commander course:
• Has accumulated 50 hours of flight time under the supervision of a Company PIC. This PIC shall have experience of at least 100 hours flight time on the type.
Co-Pilot/Second in Command Qualification Requirements
Minimum requirements to qualify a flight crew member to act as co-pilot on Company aircraft are:
• Commercial Pilot License (ATPL).
• Valid type rating(s) with the qualification as PIC including Instrument Rating.
• A total of at least 1000 flight hours on CAT fixed wing aircraft and
• A total of at last 500 hours on type.
• 500 hours flight time under instrument rules.
• Hold a valid medical class 1.
• Minimum ICAO ELP 4. Preferer 5 or 6
• Minimum 100 hours P2 on Jet Turbine for Jet Turbine Operations.
